I reckon you are spot on with this @Checksmcgee - while BP was undoubtedly a positive initially (and ultimately it was his buy in that instilled interest in PO3) - the abject lack of attention to news flow and interests of 'common' holders was clearly evident. Running PO3 as a private company did us no favours whatsoever.
While it will be a long way back for many - having CLS (or pretty much anyone else!) at the helm may free up the board to at least run PO3 like a typical spec company - and lead to some transparency as to the activities of the company.
IMO we will undoubtedly see more news from Melbourne now (rather than no news from Michigan) - and I suspect we will see this much sooner than later - but whether that 'news' is of any particular significance remains to be seen. I am sure other board members would have been frustrated with a lack of preparedness to share news - so a 'fresh start' could be just what we need.
I'm personally surprised the SP is only down 10% as I write this...so perhaps his departure is being seen by many buyers as a plus rather than a negative.
