The "hero to zero" was entirely self-inflicted. Management should have prepared for the possibility of CBA failure. In lieu of a cohesive, detailed, forward plan or explanation we got Twitter tantrums and otherwise kept in the dark. Complete leadership breakdown, imo, and completely unacceptable, especially when considering the relevant credentials of those involved.
It remains a dead duck for me until management gives some sort of sign that they are still interested. I think they will continue to draw a wage until the very end and then *poof* - "thanks for the cash, suckers!". Changed sentiment today to reflect that.
Hope you are also doing well, WB. Plenty of opportunities out there (not necessarily ASX), sometimes perseverance is key.
