Well we are indeed hefty losers.

The thing is; no one can expect or demand success; we’re not entitled to it, and investing in speculative stocks always carries significant risks. It’s definitely important that all shareholders take responsibility for their own investment decisions.

But; if in my job I failed so spectacularly to meet any sort of targets or outcome measures and received 250k per annum in the process, I’d be forthright and up front about it.

To slink away into the night without a peep, with only a short error strewn “thanks for your efforts” stanza from the chairman is frankly pathetic.

Communication is the great appeaser, even in failure.
