WB, well said, however a far kinder assessment than I can muster. I think it is the combination of arrogance and avarice that rankles the most.
However you are 100% correct we are all responsible for our own investment decisions and responsibility ultimately lays with each individual investor.
I find some solace in the following quote from George Bernard Shaw
A life spent making mistakes is not only more honorable, but more useful than a life spent doing nothing.
Gotta rationalize my decision somehow. Hopefully I will learn from this experience and recognize a mistake when I make it again.
