One hopes you are correct but the ALP hates Mr Robert Millner for the latter's role in the 2019 Federal election in drawing attention to how Federal Labor would hurt self funded retirees badly with abolition of franking credits.

That stupid Federal Labor policy hugely backfired as grandparents warned their grandchildren they'd have lower inheritances. A Chris Bowen clusterf**k. He said 'don't vote for us if you don't like it' so millions took his advice and sagaciously voted Liberal/Nationals.
Whatever Albanese says in the runup to the May 2022 Federal election, I won't be trusting him not to try this again if heaven forbid he or his ilk become Prime Minister, with or without backing from the Marxist Greens.
