Exactly what I was thinking. After the RFG debacle I am really paranoid now about franchise businesses and how they handle communicating their financials. Is it just an innocent CFO looking for a career change, or perhaps in conflict with the rest of management about how to "present" the financials... or in "abandon ship" mode before the ship tips over and sinks...
I guess this bit offers some reassurance that it might just be the former:
"Susan will continue in her role over the coming months whilst the process of identifying her successor is undertaken."
