Suggests to me that they have an opportunity to put out some bad news on previous acquisitions such as intangible write downs etc. But that's just pure speculation.
I used to own QIP before it was taken over & I always thought that IPH was overvalued vs QIP considering QIP was gaining market share. But IPH have fallen a lot since then & it could become a similar TO target.
