I would say that this is the best thing to happen ... get rid of the internal politics, operational inefficiencies or whatever is plaguing the operations...hire someone who is more up to speed with gold processing using modern tech and methods to get better results

I dont see any reason why the asset would not be functional, a bunch of others are operational in the same vicinity. Hard to explain the lack of performance.

I would add tho, the company desperately needs an AGM in November this year (it'll be after the Sept quarterly report comes out in Oct)...a request that should be conveyed to the company secretary
