I'm just a retail investor and fortunately I only hold a small amount of shares, which I don't mind being a tax write off but feel for those who have invested a lot more including life savings. Even though my amount is relatively small, I still feel dumb for getting in on the hype and have learnt a big lesson from this.
No idea about JK's citizenship, but merely moving to Cyprus rings alarm bells to me as it's a country that is notorious for giving citizenship to Russian and Chinese nationals fleeing their respective countries with questionable money and shady businesses... - read the Cyprus Papers.
All in all, the above is just my personal opinion but I feel that we have been fleeced.
I just hope there is a resolution for those retail investors who have had there money locked up for years and I just don't see anyone getting their money back.
