Point of the article is the impact - thousands of people. Perhaps hundreds of thousands Europe wide, Germany and Spain hit hardest apparently.

You'd be suprised how trusting and dismissive of red flags people are once they see themselves get paid a few times.

Next minute they're at the pub telling all their mates. "It's not a scam trust me, I've been paid back 5 times already!" "I'm going on holiday next week..."

Clearly getting paid 50% on an 108 day investment in the cannabis space should have alarm bells ringing.
