I suspect Karl's departure alone may have some kind of departure compensation in the package. The handsome handshake would not be a small amount. What's left in the company are only paper clips and tissues.
The company would need more than a jump start to keep the company afloat. Yes they can sell their "niche" technology (if there is any). Take away all those and what's left is an empty shell but stains on the wall from former glory.
ASX is generous to allow it to be listed. It would be delisted a long time ago if it was in NASDAQ.
