Hi Lt , It would be wise for people to remember the effect of collective board responsibility. Your implication that the board members who left are deficient because it was " too hot in the kitchen" , may or may not be correct. If in their opinion a board decision is unethical or unlawful , despite voting against it , they are potentially liable if they do not resign. I suppose the sort of people who allowed CE to misuse his position wouldn't understand the subtlety of that. Despite the " swinging d!cks" opinions , it is very unlikely the ethics committee would resign for reasons other than poor governance, not how the company is travelling. Anybody care to bet that CE and a number of board members won't be facing ASIC changes this year or next?
