Relax, he was up for re-election at the AGM and the Company has obviously counted proxies and realised he was not going to be re-elected. Often happens with resolutions, if the Company realises they are going to fail they remove the resolution prior to the meeting (not just for re-election, same for approval of past issues etc). It is meant to save embarrassment of having a resolution not passed. How often do you see results of meetings where they announce that a resolution has failed (unless the result is too close to call on proxies)?
