For fun I just had a look at my trade confirmations. Looks like I started buying in 2016 at 55 cents. Kept buying all the way down to 46 cents in June of 2019. That was a long uncertain 3 years.
Started selling in September 2021 at 95 cents, kept selling up to $1.37 in December 2021. Collected some pretty nice dividends along the way as a percentage of original purchase price.
Still have about 5% of my SMSF in this, but have done well so far given gains taken off the table and dividends collected along the way.
If we get a nice bump I might trim the position again, then again the divi yield is still looking good at 8.5% unfranked where we are now.
