I think this has been coming for some time. I believe the directors have resigned for good reason without any rancor because they've been working towards just this situation. The jorc shows the $300 million value, certainly a lot higher with all the multi high grades known and discounted. And it's just the start.

And it wouldn't surprise me if the increase in share volume on Friday was the directors themselves taking the chance to grab some as soon as they were no longer bound by the rules of their employment. It might have been announced after market close, but they would have handed their resignations in earlier, with immediate affect.
