I do agree that all shareholders matter, and no one any more than any other one in particular.
However, the Chair was using the four hour discussion as an excuse for not addressing the issue of greater shareholder communications.
By all means run a private four hour talk-fest for one shareholder, but do not try to excuse a lack of time for important issues on such a single enlightenment episode.
My other point was that TH's remarks were not publicly challenged nor criticized, therefore the comments are part of the record, and as such, stand.
Even if you and others did not like them, you and they, had the opportunity to speak to the comments and chose not to.
The greatest issue of time wasting at that meeting was perpetrated by Peter Dart trying to hijack the general business discussion time of an Oil & Gas producer' AGM, by questioning the Company's ability to address the global warming question almost single handed. Somebody in attendance did challenge him in the meeting and also after the show was over.
