It will take 100 shareholders, regardless of the size of heir holdings, to call for a EGM and even force the company to a Section 249 resolution to kick the Board out if they want to. That is even if their total holding will amount to just 0.1 of a percentage of the total shares on issue, and even less than that, while shareholders the likes of TH and with even more shares than him which does not amount to at least 5% of the total shares on issue, will be left whistling Dixie or sucking on their thumbs.
As such TH will still need to get the help of other shareholders to reach the 5% threshold required, or looking for another 99 shareholder to help him in what he plans to do.
