I know the market can make us all a cynical bunch, but I do suspect MT's 'personal reasons' are indeed genuine, perhaps demonstrated by the surprise and suddenness of the announcement. God forbid the bloke is suffering from depression, or marriage problems, or a terminal diagnosis, etc. Imagine having your personal life getting picked apart from needing-to-know shareholders.

For me, the trial patients continue to defy the odds, the science shows MPL overcame the blood/brain barrier, and ODD is on the near horizon. I've been thinking the slow retrace has been more likely due to some holders taking some profit off the table after a buyout offer hadn't materialised since the data drop.

Whatever MT's reason is for leaving, I wish him well. I also recognise that he is not the only person that can possibly carry on PAA's great work and take MPL where it's headed. Today will be seen in hindsight as an excellent buying opportunity. A free kick so to speak.
