"................They maybe looking at something like "project leaders" for each of the trials,................."

If that is the case ID2T then suggest we need to find someone who plays the accordion while a few of us pass the hat around as that will all take time and money that to my understanding is not sitting atop the fridge at this point in time. wink.png

I'm a bit old fashioned I'm afraid. My mum brought me up to eat my vegis before I got dessert. We have Phase IIB dog trials on the plate and still quite warm, so lets eat up our vegis'. Forget striving for Complete response and knock it down to stable disease so the story can be confirmed pronto. No ifs buts or maybe's. Meantime firmly nail down the MND trial start date, what is already in place and what still has to be done, so again there is definite news to take to market. Complete the trifecta with as basic and fast as possible (local) animal trial for Covid. Now the newly appointed ASX/media specialist has a clear and concise story to take to market. Clear, unambiguous and totally believable.

Small businesses (of which PAA is one) generally have small problems - that can be quickly fixed. PAA does not have a product (development) problem, it has a communication problem, I suspect both internally and certainly external. Willing to go way out on a limb here and hypothesize that Dr RA is actually most likely the one under most pressure. At this point in the life cycle of PAA as Exec Chair he basically needs to be able to undertake a full time job in what is more generally a part time roll. Not a complaint, just matter of fact observation that his time is split across other external responsibilities at a time of pretty much make or break for PAA. Difficult enough in most times but almost impossible during the past couple of years of Covid (to say nothing of other world events). If I am even half right that the back of the science part of the project has been broken (it is never complete) and under control thanks primarily to the work of Dr M and team then perhaps given his impending departure a reshaping to optimize future outcomes is timely. Does PAA need the same level of scientific expertise or can it be "managed" by a less experienced person, reporting to a qualified operational manager / CEO who in turn would report to the Chairman ? Still a small flat management team but one with fresh legs and clear determination to, as Paul Keating would say, bring home the bacon ! Just a hypothetical and AIMO.
