Having someone who has worked for someone as large as Barrick is a good sign.

Don't forget that nobody gave Lake any credit just 2 years ago when their shares were in the 4 - 8 cent range. The lads obviously have things going on in the background that they can't talk about. How else could they pull off the deals with Hanwa and Ford. I watched a recent interview (last week) on Mad Money with a very senior Ford executive who stressed that they were moving towards securing an integrated supply chain - excluding China. I would expect to hear a formal offtake agreement with Ford this year and probably financial participation in the project(s). That's the gist of that part of the interview. The indication was that Ford will formalise offtake agreements to get their hands on supplies - just like Toyota has done. Still no announcement from GM though.

At these prices, LKE is a buy. Even Bell-Potter raised their valuation to $2.80 (I expect with a formal offtake agreement be executed). So there are 3 brokers with similar valuations. A NASDAQ listing would push it way past that.
