The IOH website shows he has 3,605,000 shares - is this options + shares or has he loaded up with shares over the past year?

i agree it comes as a bolt from the blue, but before we all get carried away let's let the dust settle & see how it plays out. The ore body isn't going anywhere, the known reserves are ever increasing, our neighbours are flush with cash & each wants to expand output. My money is on Mr Stokes playing high stakes poker & from where I sit he's holding the top cards.

The Top 20 list contains many canny, connected & influential investors in addition conditions are moving in IOH's favour daily. So many positive variables out there - Chinese demand, acquisitive neighbours, new relationship with Chinese Ag Bank, MRRT in flux, Federal election, anticipated increase in M&A activity & the list goes on......
