That is what it looks like at first glance and if true they need to go. However I find it hard to believe that the mining consultants who provided input to the DFS in the first place and Sprott later, did not pick up on this overrun.
I have no idea what the supposed overrun is, or how much it is,but to "curtail" things, it must have been substantial.
Whatever the outcome of this review, the credibility of the management is suspect at best. The incoming CEO should in my opinion be from outside the mining industry and have a strong history of driving things to fruition. I say outside the industry because over the years I have seen such incredible waste and acceptance of usury from suppliers. Being outside of that gives a much clearer perspective on the extravagance and waste. The company already employs a mining engineer "Gary??" so we do not need to have another one in charge. What we need is trong leadership of and for the team that are building the mine.
