Agree that long term holders should thank Alex and the board and very best of luck to Alex in being able to take some cash off the table, hopefully in an orderly manner.

However the general perception in the market is that when a non-exec director steps off the board with a large share and options/performance rights position that has significantly increased in value, this brings a share price over hang on the share price as a large share position looking to be sold, often does.

One might expect the director resigning to sell his shares and hold the performance rights.

So this brings downward pressure on the share price till the overhang is gone.

If any large shareholder wants to cash in his position, the board should ensure there is an orderly share disposal and if possible, find a buyer to take out the large shareholding that may be released to the open market, removing the potential 'dampener' on the share price.

Of course, any significant increase in the value of the WC8 resource through future drilling or turnaround in the lithium carbonate share price from current lows, courtesy of any future China increase in demand should be positive for the WC8 share price, all other things being equal.

just my two cents worth and the market and certainly the share register will see how 'supportive' the subsequent actions are , if any.

So bring on the drilling campaign!!
