Either she doesn’t like what she is seeing or how it is being reported, or maybe a personality issue with other board members or she has a genuine reason to pursue other interests. But I agree with Capital as to why would she leave on the cusp of a big development? An independent director is just that, someone who brings independence and challenges management and the executive board who need to be checked. The role of an ID is important. Interesting a replacement isn’t announced at same time so she may be leaving quickly. An alternative is health and people like to keep such matters private and confidential.
