One person even disputed the vote as it did not represent a majority of the shares on issue. The Secretary was forced to read the relevant section of the coy's constitution to convince him otherwise. I suspect he was a supporter of the old Board.
But I was surprised that such a large proportion,approx 48%of the total shares on issue of approx. 728 million, did not vote on this important issue. I wonder how many on this site who continued to complain and whinge AFTER the major shareholder placed a significant amount of money into the coy., actually took the time to vote for this change.
Personally I was rather surprised that the new shareholder, who placed a significant amount into the coy., was so patient with the old Board.
