Regarding CEOs etc, my view is / was that Bruce was still delivering modest results in Australia. It was Jennifer who appeared to be delivering in the USA on Strategy and maybe financial growth and performance the last couple of years. If she was able to deliver significant actual revenue growth, her skills and capabilities would show her to be the 'heir to the QFE kingdom' as CEO of the whole busienss.
But alas, she her skills had not gone unnoticed by others outside QFE and they made her an offer with far greater upside and personal challenge.
Personally, she said all of the right things, her communication skills and strategy development will be beneficial to her new employer.
