RMC ain't going to be acquired anytime soon imo....Also RMC isn't a value trap because they have many levers to grow it and RMC & Somers Ltd have big private equity experience to unlock value. The problem is that they are too conservative and slow for many market participants and even Ive had to tweak my investment strategy around RMC (I bought more yesterday)...
I think CY2022 is actually the year the stock behaves like most people want it to behave right now....
One thing I think about for RMC is will there ever be a eventual combined entity RMC and Somers ltd? A diversified listed entity with diversified profit streams from online and digital platforms: loans, wealth management and other banking products. Just look at what Somers are doing on top of their fund management investments, Thorn Group and BNK Banking 2 highly complimentary businesses to RMC....Just my rambling but you know what was pretty shite? Athena write down....
