Below's the log scale for the XAO; looks less dramatic this way. ... and the tiny red bar at the end is today's pull back; we could be 50% into the 2008 bull run, or 1/3 into the 1987 run before the crash. ... only one thing is for sure: the share market is a long game, and on average it goes up.
Personally, I believe log scale (as opposed to linear) is a more informative representation of increases of value over time; linear is more common - perhaps someone knows why. ???
