There's a few issues at play here, firstly RMD missed forecast on revenue/ profit by 5% and then this whole Ozempic saga as you point out has been blown up by the media (which unfortunately is what they always do) and the corollary to that is that people with diabetes whom Ozempic is meant for are missing out, which from all accounts isn't really the case but what do I know.
Ozempic is prescribed by GP's to people who are overweight and they can doctor shop to get it...
If you combine the two you get a great opportunity to short, which is what has been done and the SP is down approx. 20%+ which would have made you a handsome profit if you were shorting using CFD's or if you're one of the funds even better
