Yes, I initially had similar thoughts, until I checked the NYSE 'after hours' share price movements. Weird reversal, after being very positive through the entire trading session, only to finish below the opening price.

However, in the long term I'm still positive on both CSL and RMD, particularly from their current levels.

I'm in the camp that thinks the 'hype' surrounding GLP-1 drugs is overstated in respect to it's impact on companies like RMD and CSL. Reading articles in their entirety (not just the catchy headlines) such as https://www.cnbc.com/2023/10/14/obesity-medicine-euphoria-warning-experts-tackle-miracle-drugs.html (published 14 October), there are many major hurdles to cross for the drug to live up to its euphoric expectations. And I imagine that RMD and CSL, even if they are impacted by the drug, will still continue to do well. But as they say, the proof will be in the pudding! I have a reasonable portfolio weighting of both RMD and CSL, but will be looking to add to both holdings if there are further declines in share prices.
