You might be right; I'm not very good at predicting macroeconomic variables.
But I think that market perception is the thing to understand, and even if we are not quite yet at the peak of interest rates, we are close to it and the market, being a forward-looking beast, won't wait for the peak to become manifest; instead it is looking beyond the peak, whenever that may present itself.
