I agree.
However a higher gold price will fix things for RSG one fine day.
I will buy some more RSG if the price drops back down to around 50 cents. In the meantime this thing is not going to do much from here. If the POG does not move up above USD1400 then RSG will not be earning much by way of profits and all its funds will be used up in finalising the Syama upgrade (including electricity connection), exploring and possibly fixing Bibiani and other activities in Oz and east Africa. There could be some improvement in the 2016 financial year when Syama costs should be reduced and output raised to 270k ounces per annum.
I do not get it why people are comparing RSG to PIR. PIR ore is not complexed with sulphur, and it is to be an open pit operation where the ore is fairly close to the surface. The initial plan for PIR is for a 300k ounce per annum operation, about as much as RSG is to produce in 2015, but at a much lower cost per ounce. No wonder it was sold at a price exceeding RSG's market capitalisation despite all its ounces of resources and reserves.
We have no idea if Bibiani is a goer - it needs a lot of drilling plus a DFS, plus probably money on plant etc.
At least RSG has been pretty honest aboout its operational issues and costs.
