the reason to list in a different market is probably for 2 reasons1) london is historically happier to hold african gold exposure than australia- lot of south african jewish money in particular is housed in london thats familiar with the region and likes those mines
2) if they need more capital they dont want to go back to aussie investors who they told they wouldnt need more
to list you need a significant slice of the company to trade on the new bourse - so dilution incoming
