See the big picture. This is a hugely positive announcement. Options cancelled, recoup legal costs to $700k, litigation is behind us. As noted below by Jdon, no point pursuing someone if they can’t pay. Whilst that explanation is speculative, likely correct in my opinion.
Now the company can concentrate on its software. I expect the market will like this announcement too. Time to put this behind us.
