I just re-read your one line response to the Goldtalk article, and hoped to try and answer your question. All I can do is re-iterate some media over the past 12months regarding the confidence in the "Tier 1" projects we may be involved in. Keeping the price down now as much as they can might pay off once the they start buying again based on below....and what Newcrest may report about Canteen.

Newcrest general manager exploration Fraser MacCorquodale presented at Diggers & Dealers late on Wednesday in what was the company's first appearance at the Kalgoorlie forum since 2010.

"We're open for business in the exploration space," he told delegates.

Newcrest is looking for gold and gold-copper deposits with a pathway to becoming a tier one or two deposit.

In Australia, the company has an option and farm-in with Alice Queen over the Mendooran project in New South Wales, the Second Junction Reefs JV near Cadia, strategic alliance with Encounter Resources in the Tanami and West Arunta regions, Canteen farm-in in Mt Isa, and the Euro project farm-in with Prodigy Gold in the Tanami.

"We're really excited by Australia," MacCorquodale said.

"We're an Australian company and we'd really love to make some new discoveries in Australia."
