The geological time factor had occurred to me as well, and I remember you mentioning the over pressurised pocket scenario a few years ago, but given the circumstances, in that the the Amadeus basin was once a shallow sea, meaning abundant algae growth, and the now present, flexible thick salt seal, it would seem the only real risk then is the presence of natural fractures, or otherwise. (you already mentioned that the helium presence was virtually a given) A final question, as helium is a smaller much lighter molecule than the other gas molecules usually found in hydrocarbon wells, is it less dependent on significant natural fracturing to flow?
