ok, thanks for that, and now that leads to another question I have just thought of, but probably should have thought of much earlier. (old age is a bitch) The concentrations of helium are much higher than usual at Mt Kitty and we already know that permeability was not optimum there so could high helium percentages in well gas composition be an indicator of low permeability for methane etc?
