Thanks. Yes, I've asked these questions previously to my accountant as I'm still learning about using shares as an investment strategy. He is keen for me to diversify some of our investment portfolio which is heavily focused on commercial property.
I'm not into trading as it's a full time job and whilst it does interest me, it's a skill in itself and a skill I don't posses. I'll keep things simple and invest on fundamentals that I can understand (like property), and invest on a long term basis (like property).
