With respect to open pit depths, Kalgoorlie Super Pit has been successfully advanced to a depth of c600 m below ground level. Globally there are open pits within the range of 600 to 1200 m depth below ground level. 300 m is shallow comparatively speaking. Pit depth will be a largely a function of managing site specific geotechnical conditions (slope stability) and hydrogeological conditions (ground inflow). These aspects can be designed for. No concerns from my end with respect to the depth of our pegmatites.
