In fact if I think about it for a moment it makes perfect sense;

RES announce the resource upgrade without any fanfare & on a red day for the XJO & hey presto you've got the perfect opportunity for those in 'the know' to clean up in terms of buying more shares at a bargain price as is the case today.
The 'bear trap' has already enabled them to accumulate yet again.

Let's face it with the likes of the CBA holding such a substantial stake in the company there's got to be much bigger news to follow.
