The last ore reserves reduced mineral resources from 41.5mt down to 19.1mt because 22.4mt was deemed uneconomical to mine.
However iron ore prices were depressed at the time.
When iron ore prices recover, and given the Chinese government stimulus, does anyone here know if the 22.4mt will become economical to mine? If this happens, it will extend the life of Koolan Island
