I don't disagree with your overall view(s) as market sentiment keeps swinging between "risk on" and "risk off" on a daily basis.
Clearly, Wall Street & equity investors don't want the good times to end and jump on every opportunity to turn market sentiment back to 'risk off' - hence the wild swings in the Indexes, POG and miners. Maybe the Fed's response to interest rate hikes this week will finally give the markets some clarity and direction. I also watched the below video which imo provides some clarity on what is impacting the POG, miners and the precious metal markets.
