putting valuations on Gold stocks vs Diamond plays is a good comparison. At some point in time resource stocks get fully valued and diversification becomes the next phase for growth. Any gold producer looking for commodity diversification would have to consider the diamond sector - purely on a valuation basis alone, it’s a difficult sector to overlook. This may not be in LOM’s best interest right now, but the Gold sector vs Diamond sector valuation curve is one worth watching.

Any gold play with 2 current producing assets would clearly be trading at much higher multiples than LOM is today - interesting thought.
