We all have our own perspective, mine is that the interviewer knows the ropes - has a briefing document containing the areas he wishes to cover beforehand. Both parties are well known to each other, and Alkane hired Crux because they get the type of interview that suits their own purpose.
Nic gets to discuss current operations and strategy - as well as aspirations - and Crux gets to feed its viewing audience with some insightful content. (Show me the money).
It does not matter to me who leads who - as long as the content is informative - (the content was informative for me).

You feel Nic is a bit like a lost boy - I feel he shows good command of the company, its operations and strategy - and a good understanding of the conference audiences he presents to.

Criticism is fine to my way of thinking - but it will carry more weight for the unconvinced if it is fair minded and supported by the evidence that we reference.
