They stated the reason at the time. KV is Tier 1 and the value of Buldania and Moora wasn't being reflected in the share price of LTR. Buldania serves a useful purpose alongside KV, so makes sense for LTR to hold onto that asset. However, Moora and other non core holdings were divested to realise their true worth. Early days so time will tell but the spin off was definitely to benefit shareholders. Some sold and some stuck. The important people stuck imo.
