I'm a simple fellow. My simplified view of the markets after a few decades is markets are transfer mechanisms into the economy.
Starts with bonds down to equities etc. When the debt liquidity pumps equities go up, when the wave washes through (roughly 18 months for a full cycle) you get the extra debt looking for a home then the waves roll over and crash (think April 2020 where the Fed bought it all and pumped 4 trillion and everything caught a bid and follwing 15 to 22 month period its why i say 18 months avg).
Development plays (real assets in ground are the call option plays in this regard)
NWC for Cu plus many others AUC, MEK, AAR, BC8, AWJ et al for gold
These two fellows below have some very interesting insights wrt historical references and what approaches thia decade. I think its already underway but its never a straight line. Junior Miners to catch up soon? When they do, the gains are very outsized.
After the last couple of years of drying up of liquidity I'm quite bullish after recent start of rate cutting cycle with more debt liquidity flowing back in.
