There's a lot more detail to that but I'm not going to post a subscription based newsletter on here.
Suffice it to say long bonds are certificates of confiscation this decade.
Look at their performance the last couple of years and if they do the same this year then it's 3 in a row, when was the last time they performed so poorly? Remember in GFC the 60/40 portfolio worked cause bonds did well as equities tanked, not so any more.
Just my opinion based on the smarter folks than me I've followed last 5 years and who've been nailing it. As always I (they) could be wrong but so far, been pretty spot on.
In hindsight all shall be revealed.
