" Discussions are ongoing on another acquiring another key asset in the basin."

I think this is the best piece of information out of the whole announcement. From their "processing Halo", it looks like this could be either Twin Hills or Wirralie. I think either one would be an absolute winner.

    a. Twin Hills: JORC 2012 Mineral Resource estimate for the two deposit sat Twin Hills (309 and Lone Sister) totals 633,000 ounces. For those who are unfamiliar with the history of Twin Hills, GBM entered into a binding agreement with Minjar in 2017 for the purchase of Twin Hills but unfortunately, they terminated the agreement. In their last update they did mention they were looking at legal options. https://www.gbmr.com.au/wp-content/uploads/austocks/gbz/2019_05_09_GBZ_ff4de3f4ff674802dcdcc1ec8db5c35b.pdf

    b. Wirralie: Personally I think things would get really interesting if the "potential acquisition" was Wirralie, a current CIP plant. There is heaps of good information about the Drummond base resource in https://www.lepidico.com/wp-content/uploads/2016/11/ashburton-20-3-gooya-1.pdfKeep in mind this report is from 2004 so the resources may have been updated etc. Unfortunately, I can't find any later information on the resource as Wirralie was sold to a private company. From the report it mentions a resource of 151,000 oz of oxide and 397,000 oz of sulphide gold.

The part I find really interesting is on page 5 where it mentions "The longer-term viability of Wirralie hinges on being able to find an economic process by which to oxidise the sulphide resource. So, I wonder if they have depleted the oxide resource and are now stuck at the 397k sulphide?

After some digging around on the internet regarding sulphide gold, I found some information on wiki which mentions the use of the Albion technology https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Albion_processfor refractory sulphide gold recovery. It actually looks like Asburton resources did some preliminary test work with the Albion process back in 2003 with gold recovery up to 96.1%, which is impressive! https://www.asx.com.au/asxpdf/20030626/pdf/00367310.pdf?fbclid=IwAR2KN5XVEsLGLGvqJe0wKV5V2RVHsat2_3sCaNoP6-tdpMhWBVglphl2Kyg. This is where it gets super interesting, Peter Rohner's other company, Core Resources, actually developed the Albion process and therefore would be a perfect fit for GBM http://www.coreresources.com.au/process-innovation/albion-process/.

    Just some food for thought.
