I appreciate there has been plenty of criticism of the supposed "lack of noise" and what people think the company should or shouldn't be doing on social media etc, however with the Company's approach to engaging 3rd party specialists in the areas of hardware development, software development, clinical studies, medical validation and sales/marketing etc, then people criticising marketing efforts are saying they know more than Lida and MC Saatchi about how and when to market a product which is about to be launched. They are the specialists and the company is working with them on the best marketing strategy that will complement the product introduction, launch and sales strategy. If MC Saatchi and Lida give me the marketing strategy and they have been engaged because they are the best, then only an arrogant person without the same experience decides not to listen to them. It's quite amazing how many marketing specialists there are on HC with medical device/technology commercialisation expertise....a social media presence only does not a marketing campaign make!
