as a huge supporter of hydrogen I would be happy with 1% of global steel consumption using hydrogen by the end of the decade.... maybe 5-10% within 10 years.
those plants cost many billions and won't be replaced in a hurry... plus the hydrogen supply will take decades to replace all the coal
